When can I visit the school?
School is open daily from 8:30 am- 2:00 pm. We are happy to accommodate virtual tours at this time.
When will my child visit the school?
Visitations will likely be virtual.
What are the school hours?
School hours at 8:40 AM- 3:00 PM (M- F)
Is a bus service available?
Yes, bus service is available for those who qualify.
Is there a uniform or dress code?
Yes. Our school has a uniform navy blue polo with school logo and gray pants/skirt.
What enrichment courses does Juan Pablo Duarte offer?
Dancing Classrooms, Dance residency, Read alouds with authors- through our partnership with Dominican Writers our students engage in Q&A and powerful dialogue with authors of children’s literature. Wellness in the Schools partners integrate health and nutrition instruction with fun cooking and physical activity classes.
What Service Learning/Community Service opportunities are available for students?
Green Team, students learn strategies for reducing waste at school and beyond.
How do parents get involved?
We partner with parents in many ways
- Weekly Parent Meeting with the Principal
- Join the the Parents’ Association.
- Participate in School Leadership Team Meetings
