Take A Closer Look!
We offer a comprehensive and exciting learning experience for students. Our elementary program features a curriculum that encompasses the core subjects of language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, computer technology, music and visual arts, and physical education.
Teachers integrate experiences in art, music, dance, physical education, and technology into daily instruction to nurture our student’s creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
Reading & Writing
In English Language Arts (ELA) students learn to become effective readers and writers.
In mathematics we teach students to have solid understanding of concepts, and to work through problems with skill and ease.
All students are curious about the world in which they live, which makes them natural scientists. Science helps them make sense of the world around them. It provides opportunities for students to investigate this world and explain how and why things happen.
In social studies students use rich content, major themes and big ideas to learn history, geography, economics, civics, citizenship, and government.
We are thrilled to announce the forthcoming arrival of our state-of-the-art Hydroponics Lab. Designed to foster innovation, sustainability, and hands-on learning, our facility will revolutionize the way our students explore and understand the world of agriculture.
Designed to ignite curiosity, foster critical thinking, and cultivate innovative problem-solving skills, these dynamic programs will empower our students to excel in an ever-evolving world driven by science and technology.
Extra Curricular Activities
A selection of fun and varied activities are available for K-5 students during the fall and spring.
Teaching Artist and Teachers provide students with additional opportunities for creative expression 2-3 times a week throughout the school year. All public school students should have access to high-quality arts education, which may include dance, moving image, music, theater, and/or visual arts.
Principal’s Advisory Council consists of students in grades 2-5 elected by their classmates to represent their grade/class in bi-weekly meetings with school leadership. Students share their ideas and insights on ways to enhance learning experiences.
We partner with dancing classrooms to provide a Dancing Classrooms residency where Teaching Artists and teachers create environments and model behaviors that offer young people a place to thrive and engage in the joy, discipline and teamwork of social dance.
Brain Power Wellness
Brain Power Wellness teaches physical and mental brain breaks, mindfulness practices, and social emotional wellness strategies that support a positive classroom atmosphere.
